LGA (Lawele Granular Asphalt)
LGA is used to substitute around 40% of petroleum bitumen in hot mix and warm mix application for roads with medium and high traffic loads.LGA can also be used as a 100% substitute of petroleum bitumen when used as binder in penetration Macadam roads.
Processed from sources in Lawele mines, LGA has a penetration value of 40 to 60 dmm, which is closer to regular petroleum bitumen. This provides better compatibility and allows more Buton Asphalt to be mixed with petroleum bitumen.
